Dr Ranj Singh was all smiles as he was spotted out in public for the first time since slamming the ‘toxic’ culture at This Morning. The 43 year old resident doctor, who worked on the show alongside Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby from 2016 to 2021, stepped out for the opening of Gaucho Covent Garden in London on Thursday. Ranj cut a relaxed figure dressed all in black - including a striking shirt that featured two zips running from his waist to each shoulder.
He was later spotted in high spirits as he posed for a picture with Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones. It was the first time the TV doctor has been seen publicly since the scandal surrounding Phillip Schofield emerged. Philip, 62, left This Morning last month and later admitted to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a much younger colleague.
Dr Ranj, who was part of Strictly in 2018 and now works on BBC's Morning Live, took to social media to air his views in the wake of the scandal. He said: "I was on the show for 10 years and I genuinely loved and valued working there. However, over time I grew increasingly worried about how things were behind-the-scenes and how people, including myself, were being treated.
“I didn't know the truth about what was going on with Phillip, but I do know the issues with TM go far beyond him. It takes more than one person to create a culture." Dr Ranj went on to say he raised concerns about the culture at the show but then found himself “being used less and less”. He added: "This Morning had become toxic...
I felt like because I whistle-blew I was managed out. I was assured that certain things were going to be addressed and changes made. I haven't worked on the show since." He claimed that happened two years ago

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic In case anyone is tempted to think of country music as a one-man phenomenon at present with Morgan Wallen’s seemingly indomitable runs atop multiple charts, Luke Combs has come along to remind everyone that this town is big enough for the both of ’em.
