Dr Hilary Jones today showed Good Morning Britain viewers how coronavirus test kits work - but also issued a warning.
The TV doctor, who has been offering advice about the COVID-19 pandemic on the ITV show, explained that it works “like a pregnancy test” - except you need a drop of blood.
Speaking to GMB host Kate Garraway, Dr Hilary explained how to take the test, and the science behind it.
He demonstrated it using a test he had already taken - which was negative, meaning he is not infected.
