Donald Trump wanted Disney to censor, reprimand Jimmy Kimmel over jokes: Report

Jimmy Kimmel due to the late night host's constant barrage of jokes aimed at the then-President, according to a report. Two former Trump administration officials told Rolling Stone that the POTUS was so incensed with Jimmy's constant jabs that he directed the White House staff to call Disney executives and demand action. One source told the mag that Trump complained the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host was "very dishonest and doing things that [Trump] would have once sued over." Rolling Stone says high ranking people at Disney — which owns ABC, the network Jimmy's show airs on — were confused as to why the leader of the free world was so annoyed at the barbs, particularly given that top politicians have been used as late night fodder for decades. The exact number of calls allegedly placed to Disney executives isn't known. "I do not know to who[m], but it happened. Nobody thought it was going to change anything but DJT was focused on it so we had to do something…It was doing something, mostly, to say to [Trump], 'Hey, we did this,'" a Trumpworld source said. The former POTUS, who famously hates being the punchline, has previously voiced his opinion about late night hosts.

How the ‘Shrinking’ Offices Were Created With Input From Cast Members Including Harrison Ford

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor When production designer Cabot McMullen first started thinking about designing the therapist’s practice that is the heart of AppleTV+s “Shrinking,” Harrison Ford had not yet been cast. Phil’s character was based on a real-life therapist, Phil Stutz, the subject of Jonah Hill’s recent documentary “Stutz.” But when it was announced that Ford would play the lead, Phil became Paul. As for his designs, McMullen worked closely with the actors to develop a design strategy for each office with character-driven representation through artwork, books, color palettes and desktop details. Many of the desktop items were personally chosen or curated by the actors.

Calista Flockhart refuses to fly with husband Harrison Ford piloting after all his crashes and air incidents

Harrison Ford's in-flight air history with vintage planes is so shaky this his wife, Calista Flockhart, refuses to fly with him. She will, though, fly with the "Indiana Jones" star when he pilots other aircraft. Calista's reluctance is based on multiple incidents Harrison has had over the years, particularly his 2015 crash onto a Southern California golf course. In that incident, the acting icon broke his arm and suffered head injuries after crash landing his World War II-era airplane on a fairway at Santa Monica's Penmar Golf Course following an engine failure."My wife does not fly with me in vintage airplanes anymore — she will in others," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I certainly don't want to have to recover from that kind of accident again.

Harrison Ford Defends ‘Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull’ Hate: “Where Are Those Critics Now?”

Steven Spielberg’s “Indiana Jones” franchise is generally well-beloved, and yes, it has its mystical, supernatural, and paranormal elements—see the end of “Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade” or even, hell, the end of “Raiders Of The Lost Ark.” Geez, there were all kinds of wild iterations that almost made it to the screen like “Indiana Jones and the Saucermen from Mars,” Frank Darabont’s “Indiana Jones and The City of The Gods,” but for whatever reason, the alien elements in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull,” were a bridge too far for most audiences.
