Saints lifted the Jimmy Marshall Cup after a scintillating performance at Stenhousemuir on Friday evening.
Two goals from Dylan Brown and one from Man of the Match Neil McGuire sent the large Saints support home happy.
And coach Zander Diamond was delighted with his side’s showing.
He said: “It was a fantastic team effort. Every player produced on the night and we were worthy winners of the cup.
“We spoke pre match about a game plan and it was carried out to the script.”
Saints were strangely subdued in the first few minutes as they struggled to get a foothold in the game.
However, gradually they settled and after 18 minutes they took the lead from a corner.
McElroy’s kick was confidently headed home by Brown to give his side a vital lead.
The goal galvanised Saints and they were the dominant team, passing the ball about confidently.
On the other hand OBC were struggling and their midfield were playing long balls at every opportunity which were meat and drink to Brown and Aitken in the heart of Saints defence.
Saints were piling on the pressure and went on to strike the bar twice in quick succession.
Firstly McElroy smacked a 25 yard free-kick off the top of the bar, and five minutes later Molloy did similarly after chesting the ball down and volleying a fine shot off the bar.
Saints eventually extended their lead and the only surprise was that it took until the last minute of the half for it to arrive.
McElroy worked a short corner with McColl and his shot was flicked home by Brown to give his side a two goal advantage going into the half-time break.
