DMA’S announce third album ‘THE GLOW’, release new single

Bollywood Hollywood Production will give rugby film “Jungle Cry” a theatrical release in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa next month. The film screens for buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin this month.

The National have contributed a cover of INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart" to an upcoming all-star benefit album for Australian brushfire relief entitled Songs for Songs for Australia. The compilation, organized by Australian singer/songwriter Julia Stone -- of duo Angus & Julia Stone -- is due out digitally on March 5 and on CD/vinyl in June.

Elton John intends to play his remaining shows in New Zealand and Australia, his tour promoters said Monday (Feb. 17), a day after illness caused the singer to lose his voice and cut short a performance. Video clips posted online by fans at Sunday night’s performance showed John breaking down in tears as he told the cheering crowd he couldn’t go on any longer. The 72-year-old singer said he had walking pneumonia and was assisted off stage.

BERLIN — BMG announced today a new global recordings partnership with platinum-selling artist, Aloe Blacc. The singer, whose distinctive vocals can be heard on the late Avicii's soaring hit "Wake Me Up," paired the announcement with the release of a Valentine's Day single, "I Do." Inspired by his decade-long marriage with Australian recording artist Maya Jupiter, 'I Do' is the first single from Blacc's upcoming fourth album, to be released later this year via BMG.

5 Seconds of Summer dropped big news on Wednesday (Feb. 5), revealing the release date for their forthcoming album Calm -- and despite its title, fans are anything but calm.The Australian pop-rock group took to social media to unveil the cover art and release date for Calm, which arrives March 27.
