The Walt Disney Co. and Universal Studios on Thursday responded to a report that a man who was infected with the novel coronavirus — and later died — visited both Florida theme parks before they closed their doors.
According to TMZ, a 34-year-old California man tested positive for the virus two weeks after he visited Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. The man died due to complications from coronavirus andpneumonia, his family told TMZ.
Jamell Maurice Demons, popularly known as YNW Melly, is awaiting trial in the Broward County Jail. The American rapper has been convicted for double murder charges. He is accused of murdering two of his friends, Anthony Williams and Chistopher Thomas Jr. in 2018 but the 20 years old rapper pleads not guilty. Meanwhile, YNM Melly has tested positive for Coronavirus and is demanding restricted release from the Florida jail for better treatment.
The Walt Disney Co., through its parks division, has donated more than 100,000 N95 masks for medical professionals in New York, California and Florida amid the coronavirus crisis, the company said Wednesday.
