Dion Charles believes he has had to blow off a few cobwebs after only recently returning to playing to competitive club football but is returning closer to full match fitness after a tremendous first goal for Bolton Wanderers.

He has since played four times for Bolton and the latest came over the weekend against Salop, where he scored a late winner with a remarkable strike from the edge of the box.
Charles said he knew it was a goal from the moment it left his boot and believes the late winner and celebrations with the travelling Wanderers fans was a special moment.
Dapo Afolayan came off the bench to tee up Charles and the striker believes the club's top scorer being a substitute shows the quality Wanderers possess in the final third and why it keeps him on his toes.
He said: “I had a great angle on it, as soon as it left my foot I knew it was a goal and I ran off to celebrate with the crowd.
“We have not had the best of results recently. It has picked up a bit since I have been here and it shows what it means right there.
“It is why you play football, you want moments like that, last-minute winners. It is very special for me.
