Ian Evatt believes there is still improvement to come from a new Bolton Wanderers squad after their demolition of Sunderland but believes actions such as victories will speak louder than words in the weeks to come.
Dion Charles put Wanderers ahead before Dapo Afolayan added a second before half-time in the 6-0 thrashing.
Charles bagged his second after the break before Kieran Lee added a fourth as Wanderers blitzed the Black Cats.

Danny Batth put through his own net to add a fifth for the hosts before Declan John rounded off the win with a sublime sixth goal as a rampant Wanderers made it three victories on the bounce.
The result ensures Wanderers have risen slightly in the table to 14th place and sit 14 points from the League One play-offs as things stand.
Evatt previously spoke about believing his side was the best in the division based on performances and was said after the narrow 1-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday in October.
The Bolton boss hinted that after the big victory over the Black Cats and feels the statement has been misquoted by some.
But he feels now is the time for actions which speak louder than words and believes the big win over Lee Johnson's side was certainly an action as Wanderers prepare to entertain Cambridge United at home on Tuesday evening.
