After weeks of deliberations between Hollywood’s guilds and studios, the Industry-Wide Safety Committee has submitted a white paper to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and California Gov. Gavin Newsom offering its recommendations for safety guidelines to resume film and television production.

LOS ANGELES- For the third day in a row, the number of positive results tests for COVID-19 rose in Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) confirmed 50 new deaths and 1,824 new cases. Some of the new cases reported are from a backlog of test results. To date, LACDPH has identified 51,562 positive cases of COVID-19 across all areas of LA County, and a total of 2,290 deaths.
L.A. County’s restaurants, hair salons and barbershops have been given the green light from the state to reopen, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and local officials announced on Friday.
