Diego Luna joins co-star Genevieve O’Reilly at a special screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story held at The Ham Yard Hotel on Wednesday night (August 24) in London, England.
The two stars of the movie will reunite in Disney+’s newest Star Wars show, Andor.
Fans and guests at the special event were able to see an exclusive first look at the show, which is set to debut on September 21 on the streaming service.
Andor is a prequel series to Rogue One, which is filled with danger, deception and intrigue. It’s in an era which Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a Rebel hero.
“I wanted to do it about real people,” showrunner Tony Gilroy explained to Variety of the show. “They’ve made all this IP about the royal family, in essence. It’s been great. But there’s a billion, billion, billion other beings in the galaxy. There’s plumbers and cosmeticians. Journalists! What are their lives like? The revolution is affecting them just as much as anybody else.”

It’s almost time for Lucasfilm to unveil its next series, “Andor” and today at D23 Expo today during the Lucasfilm Hall D23 presentation, Disney unveiled the thrilling and final trailer to the series, a prequel to “Rogue One.” Created by writer/director/producer Tony Gilroy who worked extensively on the reshoots to “Rogue One,” supervising the post-production edit as well, “Andor” looks at Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor character five years before the events of “Rogue One” when he was a thief and anything but a Rebel Alliance captain.
