During her 30 years of service, she was the first woman to chair the Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee, as well as the first woman to preside over the inauguration of a U.S.

Dianne will be terribly missed.”Prior to her time in Congress, Feinstein was also the first female mayor of San Francisco, serving her home city from 1978 to 1988.She is survived by her daughter Katherine Feinstein.
