Working Men’s Club have announced a new remix EP, called ‘The Steel City’, which will see producers from Sheffield reimagine tracks from the band’s ‘Fear Fear’ album.The EP will be released exclusively through Sheffield independent record store Bear Tree as a limited-edition bonus CD alongside the new album, which arrives on July 15.Working Men’s Club frontman and songwriter Syd Minsky Sargeant has become immersed in the city’s musical community since recording their self-titled debut album there. Derry Girls child star Zoe Brown has been diagnosed with leukaemia.The four-year-old played Baby Anna, the younger sister of Erin Quinn, in the Channel 4 show which is focused on the lives of teenagers growing up in Derry during the Troubles. Zoe was diagnosed with leukaemia in May and has been undergoing treatment and chemotherapy.

Girls Aloud members will run a special a special Race for Life charity event in memory of their late bandmate Sarah Harding. Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts will be fundraising throughout this year, including a 5km running event named the Race For Life For Sarah, which aims to celebrate Harding’s life as well as raising money.
