California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's reelection campaign put up a billboard in Austin, Texas, promoting his state's abortion access for women. The billboard, placed just south of Stassney Lane in South Austin, features a woman sitting with her arms crossed over her knees looking toward a pro-abortion message that reads, "Need an abortion? California is ready to help."  The advertisement also includes California's abortion resources website and a Bible verse.  "Love your neighbor as yourself.There is no greater commitment than these," the billboard reads, quoting Mark 12:31.

The council member who represents the northwest Austin district where a golf course hosted a racy tournament with an adult entertainment club this week says that she has fielded calls from concerned constituents about the incident.  The Vista Ridge High School golf team tried to practice at Avery Ridge Golf Club on Monday, but the coach sent the kids home after they encountered the adult entertainment club.  "I started receiving complaints from constituents about what had happened," Austin City Council Member Mackenzie Kelly, who represents district 6, told Fox News Digital on Thursday. "I don't believe that any student should be exposed to that type of behavior that was happening out at the golf club that day.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Dominique Boutonnat, the president of France’s most powerful entertainment body the National Film Board (CNC), has been order to stand trial for an alleged sexual assault on his 22 year-old godson, Variety has confirmed. Boutonnat was just appointed by the French government to serve a second three-year mandate as president, despite the fact that he has been indicted for the alleged sexual assault since February 2021. The Nanterre public prosecutor’s office requested that Boutonnat’s case should be brought before a criminal court back in April, following a 14-month investigation. A judge then had to determine whether to drop the case or order Boutonnat to face trial, and ultimately ruled the latter. The news agency AFP was first to report the news.
