Eric Braeden, best known for his portrayal of Victor Newman on the hit soap opera "The Young and the Restless," updated his fans on his battle with cancer. The 82-year-old shared he was "misdiagnosed at first," which made him want to spread awareness about his health condition and encourage men to not be fearful of making a doctor’s visit. "The reason that I'm going public with this is to inform people," he said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Eric Braeden is sharing details about his health battle. In an interview with ET's Kevin Frazier, the 82-year-old star reveals that he was «misdiagnosed at first,» before doctors attributed his prostate problems to cancer.That misdiagnosis inspired Braeden to publicly reveal his health information, in hopes of raising awareness for other men.«The reason that I'm going public with this is to inform people,» he tells ET.

McKinley Franklin editor Cinedigm has acquired the North American rights to horror-comedy film “Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls,” which will be released in theaters this fall, Variety has learned exclusively. The film is based on writer, director and star Andrew Bowser’s viral character, Onyx, which has accumulated over 300 million views online with over 1 million followers on TikTok. According to the film’s official plot description, as an “amateur occultist, [Onyx] learns that sometimes when you raise HELL…you get a little burned.” Just when Onyx is about to give up his paranormal pursuits, he receives an invitation to meet with his idol, Bartok the Great, to take part in a ritual to revive an ancient demon. Onyx makes friends with fellow disciples as things take a turn for the worst and they battle to keep their souls.

The German actor, 82, shared with his fans that whilst recovering from knee surgery, he began to have issues with his prostate. "I hate to be his personal, but I think this may be good for some older guys who may or may not listen to this.

star posted a 13-minute video Friday on Facebook and said he had problems with his prostate while recuperating from a recent knee-replacement surgery when the health scare came about. «I hate to be this personal but I think this may be good for some older guys who may or may not listen to this,» he said.Braeden said the prostate problem manifested to the point where he was frequently urinating, about every half hour or so.

The actor has been starring in the CBS soap since 1980 and has appeared in 3963 episodes. He’s also appeared in notable films like “Titanic” and “Escape From the Planet of the Apes.” “I’m happy to be able to go to work,” he said.
