The coronavirus pandemic may have pumped the brakes on a lot of movie productions, but James Gunn, the director of DC Comics’ upcoming Suicide Squad reboot and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, says his films will be unaffected.
Hollywood has been amongst the several fields that have been deeply affected by the coronavirus scare. Due to theatres being shut down as a preventive measure, filmmakers have had to delay the release dates of their movies to late 2020 or even 2021.
While shutdowns and self-isolation have caused many movie premieres to go straight to streaming or be pushed back, James Gunn is reassuring fans that two films will not be affected.
