EXCLUSIVE: David Slade’s feature adaptation of horror novel Dark Harvest is now scheduled to open on Sept. 24, 2021.
The project repped MGM Film Group Chairman Michael De Luca’s first notable deal at the studio upon his recent arrival. Dark Harvest was previously set up at New Regency which put the project in turnaround.

Elvis Presley fans have been waiting a long, long time for the official death certificate to be released publicly. On August 16, 2020, it will be 43-years since the world lost the legendary King of Rock and Roll at the young age of 42.
The Coronavirus crisis that has affected the entire world has also resulted in delayed releases of numerous upcoming movies. It has now been recently announced that the release date of the much-awaited movie Venom 2 has now been pushed further to summer 2021. For the unversed, the sequel to Venom was originally scheduled to be released in October 2020. But now, as per the decision of the production house, the movie is slated to be released in June 2021.
Warner Bros.' big-screen musical In the Heights has landed a new June 18, 2021, release date, the studio said Tuesday. The film originally had been set to dance into theaters June 26, 2020, but was pulled last month from this year's calendar because of the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
In The Heights‘ release date has been officially pushed back until 2021.

Vikings fans may be disappointed that the History Channel series is ending after Season 6's final 10 episodes, which are slated to premiere later this year. However, fans of this world do have something to look forward too even after Vikings bows out: an upcoming Netflix spin-off series. The streaming service announced they had ordered the drama, titled Vikings: Valhalla, in November 2019, just before Vikings' final season began.
