There will not be a second season of USA drama series Dare Me. USA Network has opted to cancel the series, from UCP and Peter Berg and Michael Lombardo’s Film 44, after one season, Deadline has confirmed. We hear UCP will be shopping the series to other outlets.
Dare Me premiered to stellar reviews. Co-produced by Netflix, the series began an international run on the streamer last month, and has a second window run on Netflix in the U.S.

Screen Media has picked up the North American rights to Roger Michell’s doctor-assisted suicide drama Blackbird, which stars Susan Sarandon, Kate Winslet, Mia Wasikowska, Sam Neill, Rainn Wilson and Bex Taylor-Klaus. The feature, which bowed at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival, is set for a September 2020 release.

Taylor Swift is ready to transport you out of quarantine and straight into her Paris, France, concert! The 30-year-old pop star is releasing a new ABC special — “Taylor Swift City of Lover Concert” — on Sunday, May 17 following the finale of “American Idol”.
It’s too bad All My Children still isn’t on the air, because daytime TV’s former leading lady Susan Lucci is still looking so amazing at age 73. She taped a public service announcement video to raise funds for the American Heart Association and shared it to her Instagram on May 5.
