Danniella Westbrook has been soaking up the sun in Portugal as she jetted off for some rest and recuperation following her recent surgery. The 49 year old actress, who announced the tragic death of her friend last week, was spotted enjoying a dip in the sea as she headed out of the water to relax on the beach in the scorching sunshine. Former EastEnders icon Danniella underwent a surgical thread lift and fat transfer last month in a bid to address issues from another operation. Danniella was rushed to hospital in Portugal after experiencing "unreal" pain following the facial surgery in Turkey.
"Only I could land back in Portugal after surgery only to end up in hospital," the star told fans on her Instagram stories. “The pain I’ve experienced is unreal, most frightening few days. Need it like a hole in the head, literally." Before explaining what had happened on social media, the star had been pictured after going under the knife.
At the time, the soap star had a swollen face that looked incredibly painful, and she was covered in bandages. Danniella underwent her fifth round of facial reconstruction surgery in a bid to finally fix the damage years of substance abuse had done to her face. Following copious use of cocaine decades ago,
