Daniel Craig has said that his feeling "physically really low" was partly responsible for the long wait for the new James Bond film.
The actor, who returns for his fifth and final outing as the spy in No Time To Die, said that he struggled with the physicality of preparing for the films, and that he also suffered from anxiety over the role.
Craig told GQ magazine: "I was never going to do one again. "I was like, 'Is this work really genuinely worth this, to go through this, this whole thing?'

While the fans were eagerly waiting for the latest James Bond film, No Time To Die, to hit the movie theatres, it was announced earlier this month that the film’s release date has been pushed back following the Coronavirus outbreak. The Daniel Craig starrer movie, which was initially scheduled to release on April 10, will now hit the movie theatres in November.
Daniel Craig has insisted the delayed No Time To Die will be his final James Bond film, amid reports the star was considering another outing as 007.
“No Time to Die,” Daniel Craig’s final film as James Bond, has been delayed until November due to concerns over COVID-19, but the actor still took the stage at Studio 8H in New York Saturday to host “Saturday Night Live.” And in doing so, he brought with him one of his favorite scenes from the upcoming film.
