Dancing With the Stars Renewed for Season 29 at ABC

“Dancing with the Stars” judge Bruno Tonioli is hoping to convince Meghan Markle to compete on an upcoming season. The Duchess of Sussex shocked the world in January when she and Prince Harry revealed plans to step back from their duties as senior members of the royal family and live financially independent of the crown in North America.The duo has since settled down in Los Angeles, which Tonioli believes puts the former “Suits” star in a perfect position to appear on the show.

In June 2005, ABC launched the U.S. version of the U.K. series Strictly Come Dancing. Tom Bergeron served as the host of Dancing With the Stars, with Lisa Canning as his cohost in season 1. Samantha Harris replaced Canning in season 2 for eight seasons. In season 10, Brooke Burke (who won season 7) took over as cohost until season 18, when Erin Andrews (who competed in season 10) took over.

Mirrorball champs or not, Dancing With the Stars has featured some impeccable professional dancers in the years since the ABC competition series premiered in 2005. Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are among the talent who have lit up the ballroom.

Is Lucifer actually coming to an end, or will the series receive another surprise resurrection? Back in June of 2019, Netflix renewed Lucifer for a fifth and final season, much to the disappointment of Lucifans, but now, it's looking more and more like that decision may get overturned before Season 5 has even premiered!

Somewhere in Los Angeles, Chris Harrison is sipping a glass of champagne right now because The Bachelor will be back for its landmark 25th season, ABC confirmed Thursday. The renewal comes as no surprise, as the reality TV juggernaut was the No. 1 broadcast show in the 18-49 demographic on Mondays this season and remains a constant topic of cultural conversation almost 20 years after its premiere. 

Rejoice, Millionaires, A Million Little Thingshas been renewed for Season 3 at ABC! The network has announced that the drama, which follows a group of friends trying to make their way through life after the unexpected death of a member of their friend group, will return for another season.

In an unsurprising move, ABC has renewed black-ish for a seventh season. This means the Kenya Barris Cinematic Universe marches onward with its hit trinity; mixed-ish has also been renewed at ABC, and grown-ish was previously renewed at Freeform.
