‘Dancing With the Stars’ Finalists Revealed After 2 Top Couples Are Sent Home

Six celebrity couples were in the race to be crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion 2020, but in tonight's quarter final showdown another star departed the dancefloor.

Val Chmerkovskiy may have been rooting for his wife, Jenna Johnson, to win her second mirrorball championship during the Dancing With the Stars finale, but he is just as happy to see pal Artem Chigvintsev come out on top.Chigvintsev, 38, earned his first victory on DWTS alongside partner Kaitlyn Bristowe on Monday, November 23. Dance pro Sasha Farber suffered a lower back injury during his dress rehearsal the day of the show's Semifinals Night and was out of commission throughout the rehearsals. His partner, Justina Machado, was then forced to rehearse with fellow dance pro, Brandon Armstrong, who was previously paired with contestant Jeannie Mai prior to her abrupt exit due to health concerns.

Semifinals Night of has come to an end, and sadly, two more couples have gone home.Monday's show ended with a brutal double elimination that sent Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart and Skai Jackson and Alan Bersten home packing.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has said that if she were on the show on Sunday she "might've saved" Max George and sent home Maisie Smith. Motsi was unable to appear as she is now self isolating after she had to rush back to Germany, where she lives, as there was a break in at the dance school she runs.

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to have banned stars from partying following a strong of coronavirus scares threatening the future of the series. BBC big wigs are said to have told the cast, which includes EastEnders star Maisie Smith and former The Wanted singer Max George, that they are there to take part in the show and nothing else.

Dancing with the Stars,  the final seven will honor their favorite musical icons by performing dances to the icons' hits.
