With the latest series of Dancing on Ice now well underway, the latest batch of celebrity contestants have been tirelessly rehearsing ahead of the live shows to try and skate their way out of being eliminated. But while the training schedules have been intense, fans are convinced romance may have begun to bloom between contestant Miles Nazaire and his pro skating partner Vanessa Bauer.
The couple first parked speculation they were dating with their flirty behaviour on set, with Miles appearing to kiss her neck during one routine. In a further dose of speculation, Miles himself even added fuel to the fire when he admitted skating with Vanessa brought out her “giddy side.” However, Made in Chelsea star Miles was quick to insist the couple weren’t in a relationship, as he told The Mirror: “Honestly, if I was paired up with someone else I’d be so frustrated, knowing that we are so good as a match, as a pair.
It’s really, really great. “She’s great. She’s a little bit strict, in such a good way though.
And we do have such fun. I think I bring out the giddy side of her, which is nice. She gets a bit annoyed when I’m playing around too much but, yeah, it’s great.” Miles and Vanessa have delighted viewers at home with their routines ever since the competition began last month, with the stylish duo even widely tipped to take home the trophy at the end of the series.
But Miles, who has also appeared in Celebrity Ex on the Beach and Celebs Go Dating, did later reveal that not everything about their partnership was smooth sailing, as he admitted that they didn’t initially get off to the best start. The star explained: “Funnily enough, we didn’t click when we met. I think she didn’t get what kind of person I was.
