Dancing on Ice fans flocked to social media as they spotted the show's presenter Holly Willoughby make a small slip up within the first few minutes of Sunday 6 March's show. Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield were opening the hit ITV show after an impressive group dance featuring the final six couples and the ITV show's judges - Olympic legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed a small error when Holly introduced the famous, World Champion skaters and judges. One entertained viewer asked: "Did Holly say drain and Chris?" As another spotted the blunder and added: "Who are Drain and Chris?" A third penned: "Holly's slip of the tongue saying... 'To impress Drain & Chris.'" One fan tweeted: "Did Holly just call ‘Jayne’…’DRAIN’" with several laughing face emojis.
Despite the small mistake, fans were still impressed by Torvill and Dean’s “mesmerising” opening routine to Take That’s song Greatest Day. After the skating legends watched a few clips of their most iconic routines, the professionals joined the final six couples for a group dance on the ice.
One viewer wrote: "Gorgeous opening." As another added: "That was such beautiful start to the show." A third exclaimed: "Amazing!!! Simply mesmerising!!!!!!!"
