BBC morning breakfast news presenter Dan Walker has issued a warning to fans after multiple social media accounts have been sending out messages claiming to be him.
The TV presenter and former Strictly star took to Instagram to clear things up, posting a video to his page alongside a caption which read: "Just a little video in response to a number of messages I’ve been getting.
"The only contact I will ever give out is the email in my bio. Have a good one."

In the video posted yesterday (May 9) Dan, who was dressed in a suit and tie, said: "Hello, just a quick note because in the last few days I've got quite a few messages from people saying they've been getting messages from people claiming to be me on social media.
"I haven't been doing any of that by the way, your Honour! Importantly though, I don't have a private account so this is it.
"I wouldn't be sending you any private or direct messages asking for information or for money or to give you a number to ring to speak to my PA. That is just not happening.
"So if you do get any of those, one they're not from me, two you can ignore them or, if you want to, three you can do what I've done and report them to either Facebook or Instagram or wherever you see them.
"I hope that makes sense and answers some of your questions and I'm off to eat a chocolate hobnob now so if you'd like to join me in that - enjoy!
"See you soon and have a lovely day."
Dan's followers were quick to take to the comments section to thank him for addressing the issue, with a number of fans describing how they had been approached by numerous 'Dan Walkers' using various accounts in order to message them
