A dad with 'so much to look forward to' died after falling from a window while smoking a cigarette. Liam Anyon had been staying at a friend's house in Lancashire, where he wasn't allowed to smoke inside.
Instead, he would 'hang out' of the attic window to have a cigarette, his inquest heard yesterday (March 6). Tragically, he fell from the attic on the morning of last October 24.
He suffered an un-survivable brain injury, Lancs Live reports. The 30-year-old, from Fleetwood, had been smoking from the top floor window of the house on Galloway Road.

The next-door neighbour was at home when she heard a 'loud bang' which she initially thought was a car crash. When she went to investigate she found Liam unconscious on the ground.
Liam was rushed to the Royal Preston Hospital where, after noticing that his pupils were fixed and dilated which is indicative of brain damage, a CT scan revealed he had suffered an un-survivable injury. He died three days later, on October 27.
The inquest at Preston Coroner's Court heard how Liam, who worked as a car valet, had been 'happier than ever' in the weeks before his accident. His girlfriend said he 'had so much to look forward to'.
In a statement, Liam's neighbour, Amelia, said: "At 11.16am I was sat in the living room and I heard a really loud bang. I initially thought it was a crash. I went to the front window and looked out and saw a male led on the floor. He was completely still and not moving."
Friend Sam Scott had spoken to Liam less than an hour before he fell from the window. Sam told police: "He seemed like his normal self; laughing and having a general conversation.
