Cyclist rushed to hospital after crash with car

A cyclist was taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Oldham.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the smash on Ashton Road at around 6.35pm on Friday night (March 11).
The cyclist was taken to hospital from the scene.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.
No arrests have been made.
Ashton Road, which is just outside the town centre, was closed off after the crash at the junction with Copster Hill Road.
Pictures taken at the scene showed a number of police cars in attendance as well as ambulances.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called around 6.35pm on Friday 11 March 2022 to a report a collision involving a cyclist and a car on Ashton Road, Oldham.
"The cyclist was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"No arrests were made."
