A probe has been launched after a woman was the victim of serious sexual assault in a wooded area near a Scots nightclub.

A cyclist was left with a serious head injury after a terrifying unprovoked assault by a gang of teens.
The 25-year-old was rushed to hospital after coming across the group of youths who were armed with bottles in Arkleston Road in Renfrew.
The victim, who just happened to be cycling past around 6pm on Saturday night when he was accosted by the group.
They went on to subject him to the violent assault, leaving him with blood pouring from a wound in his head.
The group then fled the scene leaving the man injured on the footbridge near to Pennilee Road.
He attended at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he received treatment for a serious wound on the back of his head.

Detectives in Paisley are now appealing for information to trace the group responsible for the incident - which is being treated as serious assault.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: “This was an incredibly distressing for the victim who was not known to his attackers.
“He had been cycling in the area when he was approached by a group of males youths.
“The youths quickly became aggressive and assaulted the 25-year-old, resulting in a large head wound.
“The victim was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he received treatment for his injuries.
“He was released from hospital after medics treated a serious wound on the back of his head.”
Police are now carrying out extensive enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
They are also keen for the public to check any private CCTV or dashcam footage.
