ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has addressed her ongoing feud with HYBE in a press conference held in Seoul, South Korea today (May 31).Min Hee-jin’s press conference today, which takes place a month after the first of such in the saga between her and HYBE, lasted a little under two hours. During the event, the ADOR CEO touched on the future of K-pop girl group NewJeans, her alleged “betrayal” of HYBE and more.In her opening statement, per Korea JoongAng Daily, Min spoke about how the period since the last press conference has been “the toughest” of her life, while thanking those who have supported and helped her.

ADOR follow a shareholders meeting, amid a prolonged feud with HYBE.Today (May 31), the board of ADOR, which is a subsidiary of entertainment giant HYBE, held its scheduled extraordinary shareholders meeting, during which it was decided that Min Hee-jin would continue on as the CEO of the K-pop agency, per Yonhap News Agency and Korea JoongAng Daily.Notably, the shareholders meeting takes place just a day after a Seoul court ruled in favour of an injunction filed by Min that prevented HYBE from exercising its voting rights to dismiss her. HYBE owns 80 per cent of ADOR, with Min Hee-jin holding a 18 per cent stake.However, according to Yonhap‘s report, two of Min’s “close aides” on the board, only identified by the publication as Shin and Kim, were dismissed and replaced by three C-suite executives officials from HYBE.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Angel Studios is planning to appeal an arbitrator’s ruling that ended its relationship with the producers of faith-based TV megahit “The Chosen.” The news comes as The Chosen LLC — the company behind the production of series — announced this week that the show’s Season 4 would exclusively stream on “The Chosen” app starting with the first two episodes on June 2. In a statement, Angel Studios CEO Neal Harmon said it will “pursue the appeal provision that Angel and The Chosen agreed to as the process for resolving disagreements privately.” In a unique distribution model, “The Chosen” Season 4 was first released in theaters this February, where it scored big box office returns. But after that, the show’s TV premiere remained in limbo as Angel Studios and The Chosen LLC tussled over the season premiere plans.
