Camilla, Queen Consort and wife of King Charles III, was seen attending Ascot on Saturday, 15 October, and the event was one of the favourites of the late Queen Elizabeth. Camilla, 75, looked regal as she made an appearance at the British Champions Day at Ascot, wearing a navy blue coat-dress with white lapels. She wore a coordinating hat and a massive smile on her face as she arrived for the QIPCO British Champions Day – although her husband Charles, 73, was not seen with her.The late Queen Elizabeth II was known to be a big fan of horses and racing, and she was often seen attending events at Ascot.

Prince William honored the late Queen Elizabeth II in his first public speech as the Prince of Wales Tuesday. The Duke of Cambridge and Cornwall attended the United for Wildlife Global Summit, where he spoke about animals being threatened by poachers. Prince William created United for Wildlife in 2014 as part of the Royal Foundation.

Soccer legend David Beckham joined a massive line of people waiting to pay respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II and view her coffin on Friday.  While onlookers stood in the hours-long line, it did not take long until bystanders noticed the 47-year-old British icon, who was dressed in a dark coat and baker boy cap. ITV has confirmed it will run live and uninterrupted coverage of the late Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral. The coverage of the ceremony, which will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday September 19 and has been deemed a UK bank holiday, will be preceded by Good Morning Britain, which will give viewers a preview of proceedings.

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has opened up about how the late Queen Elizabeth II had been "absolutely on it" in their final meeting just two days before her death. The MP said she remained "actively focused" on both world and UK politics when he formally tendered his resignation as Prime Minister to her on Tuesday 6 September. Boris had his final audience with the Queen in Balmoral Castle in Scotland last week, before the late monarch then met with his successor and the UK's new Prime Minister, Liz Truss.The Conservative backbencher, who was the 14th Prime Minister of the Queen's 70-year reign, said he was moved by her "sense of duty" during their meeting.

Appearing on BBC One's coverage of the Queen's coffin procession in Edinburgh on Monday 12 September afternoon, the presenter and former contestant, whose father was once the Queen's Chaplin, shared the sweet anecdote with news presenter Huw Edwards.
