Social services bosses at a Greater Manchester council have been ordered to find alternative accommodation for a 12-year-old boy with behavioural difficulties after he was 'inappropriately placed' on a hospital ward.

A High Court judge described the child's situation at the facility as 'inappropriate, demeaning and, quite frankly, brutal'.
