Coronation Street viewers held a collective deep breath when Yasmeen Metcalfe finally snapped and reacted to her husband’s vile abuse.
Geoff finally appeared to get his comeuppance in Friday's episode when, after more horrific tormenting and torturing of his wife, she fought back.
When Geoff threatened to stab her with a knife, she grabbed a bottle, hit him on the head and thrust the broken end into his neck.
While the blow did not kill Geoff, it was then a tough watch to see a broken Yasmeen
