Coronation Street star Anthony Crank opened up about his experiences growing up gay and his struggles with coming out.
The 50 year old actor is known for playing evil drug dealer Dean Turnbull on the cobbles. And on Wednesday, 22 May, Dean returns to the street, with Abi Webster making an enemy of him when she refuses to help him out.

It is very much an integrative part of my life and my life story, but because of the fear of it more than anything." The actor found comfort in the 90s club scene, especially in what is now known as Manchester's Canal Street and Liverpool's Pride Quarter.
Anthony, who has also appeared on Hollyoaks and Shameless, would often travel to these nearby cities to find an LGBTQ+ community, as Warrington wasn't "a diverse town at all" back then. Bridgerton returns in 2024 with another batch of episodes.Created by Chris Van Dusen, the period drama revolves around the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.The show is based on the books by Julia Quinn, with the third season adapting her fourth Regency romance novel, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.Following the second season, a spin-off titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story was released in May 2023. The first four episodes of season three arrived on May 16, 2024.The remaining four episodes of season three will be released on June 13, so there’s only a month to wait for the concluding half.Bridgerton was renewed for a third and fourth season back in April 2021, so another batch of episodes is already in the pipeline – although an exact release date is unknown.It seems like there’s plans for more seasons and spin-offs too.
