Married Sarah Barlow has ended up in a web of lies after finding chemistry with drug dealer Damon Hay who has been making life a misery for her own brother on Coronation Street. The pair previously met weeks ago in a hotel bar, and she had no idea at first that he was the low-life who had been blackmailing Nick Tilsley into letting him run a drugs operation from his bistro.
But Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien, and Damon, played by Ciaran Griffiths, have continued to flirt wildly with Damon saying he was determined to bed her. In Easter Monday's episode with her car blocked in, her husband Adam working and unavailable, Damon seized his opportunuty and gave Underworld factory manager Sarah a lift to the hotel for her meeting.
When the buyer made disparaging remarks about the designs, Damon sauntered over pretending to be a music mogul impressed by the designs. He handed Sarah his card with his room number written on the back.

Despite winning the buyer over, Sarah was still angry with Damon and headed to the room where she tore a strip off him for interfering. But after drinking champagne together she threw caution to the wind and they slept together.
The situation is even more complicated as her solicitor husband is acting on his behalf after he was arrested for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. After Damon and Sarah agreed to end their relationship there, because he looks set to go to prison, there was a twist as Adam and collague Dee-Dee Bailey had found a way to keep him from behind bars.
