Andy Whyment has addressed his return to I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here - more than three years after fans branded his loss a 'disaster'. The Coronation Street actor first appeared on the ITV reality show in 2019 where he lost out on the crown to former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa.
Andy, who is famed for playing Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap, was the hot favourite to win the entire series but after 11 million votes were cast, it wasn't meant to be. But he's back for another go as he joins a number of famous faces from I'm A Celeb's two-decade history competition for 'legend' status.
The all-new I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, which was filmed in September last year, sees the return of some of the most memorable campmates from the popular show in the brand new setting of Kruger National Park and with no public vote, they will be competing against each other in a battle to become the first ever 'I'm A Celebrity Legend'.

And at the end of Tuesday night's episode (April 25), it was read out to the camp by Diversity dancer and TV presenter Jordan Banjo that three new arrivals were waiting to join them - and one of them is Corrie's Andy Whyment who plays Kirk Sutherland. The other two are musician Myleene Klass from the 2006 series and 2017 I'm A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo.
"Three new celebs are on their way. It's up to you to decide who will join you for dinner," Jordan read, and former Corrie star Helen smiled when Andy's name was read out. It's now been revealed that the new trio are set to live away from the rest of their campmates.
