Yet despite her popularity it looks as though Millie is ready to move on from the soap, as The Sun reports she is set to bow out later this year in an “explosive” storyline that has been kept tightly under wraps.

Next week's Coronation Street sees Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) feel like an outcast following the recent revelations about his past.
