Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has said she's 'feeling stronger' as she showed herself getting back into her fitness routine. The actress, who made her debut on the ITV soap at the end of June as Cassie Plummer, took to Instagram with a snap after working up a sweat.
Claire, who is probably best known or her portrayal of Lindsey Corkill in the scouse soap Brookside before carving out a successful theatre career, looked fabulous as she posed in the gym in a pink sports bra and matching pink leggings. The soap star appeared to have already worked out, sporting that post-workout glow as she beamed for the camera.
"So good to be back training," she typed alongside the snap posted to her Instagram Story. "Only a couple of sessions but feeling stronger and more positive already," she added.

It comes just days after Claire returned to screens in Corrie as the truth was finally revealed to Tyrone that she is his biological mum. Tyrone grew up believing that his mum was Jackie Dobbs, played by Margi Clarke. But in 2018 investigations into his parentage brought him into contact with grandmother Evelyn, portrayed by Dame Maureen Lipman, for the first time who told him that her daughter, his biological mother, is dead.
In Claire's first scenes as Cassie, the character tracked down her mum to the street but when Evelyn spotted her, she ignored her. But later, Evelyn received a call and was seen hurrying into A&E reception, explaining that her daughter has been admitted as an emergency after the drug addict overdosed.
The pair then entered into an emotional confrontation as Cassie revealed she knows that she was living with Tyrone
