Coronation Street's Georgia Taylor has provided fans with a unique opportunity to peek behind-the-scenes of the famous ITV set.The star, who plays Toyah Habeeb on the iconic ITV soap, appeared on Lorraine Kelly's show on Friday morning to show off the set of her character's house on the show. First appearing with the set of Toyah's house behind her, she got the cameraman to spin around to give viewers a look at what behind-the-scenes really looks like.
The camera revealed a large warehouse-type setup with a "solicitor's office" in arms reach of where Georgia was standing. Upon seeing the large set, Lorraine exclaimed: "That's brilliant I love that!" Georgia also gushed over the convenience of the set layout, especially for some of her fellow cast members, adding it's "great for Charlie, who plays Imran, because his home's here and his office is right there so not getting too many steps in on a day." The soap star first appeared on Coronation Street form 1997 to 2003, where she had a lengthy hiatus before returning to the cobbles in 2016.
During her Lorraine appearance, Georgia also spoke about how she sometimes gets frustrated by how her character acts in certain situations. In the show, Toyah got married to Imran Habeeb despite discovering he was the father of neighbour Abi Franklin's baby Alfie.
In regards to her character's motivations, Toyah has always wanted to be a mum herself but still decided to forgive Imran for cheating on her. Georgia added: "‘I feel like there have been times recently where she’s potentially been a little bit of a pushover.
