Coronation Street star Andy Whyment was jokingly called out by the soap as he enjoyed a 'brunch date' with his co-star amid a day of filming. Earlier this week, the actor was branded a 'hunk' by his co-star Alan Halsall as they headed out together during a break from the ITV soap's set.
As they beamed for a selfie at their dinner table, Alan, who fans know for playing Corrie's Tyrone Dobbs, posted the snap alongside Elvis Presley's track 'A Big Hunk O' Love' to his Instagram Story and said: "Little brunch date... with this absolute hunk."
Andy, however, has since taking to his main Instagram grid and shared the snap with his own fans and followers. Alongside the photo, the Kirk Sutherland star wrote: "Dinner date with @alanhalsall @thealchemistuk Media City before heading back to @coronationstreet."

And Corrie's social media team were quick to poke fun as they replied to the post: "Get back to work you two." Dylan Wilson star Liam McChenyne, meanwhile, seemingly thought Andy was spending his break elsewhere, writing in the comments: "Costco shop going well Andy?"
But it appears Andy wasn't wasting a second of his spare time as the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here star responded: "Been and done it mate and been to the Trafford Centre to get a new battery in my watch." Corrie's Sally Carman-Duttine, however, gushed: "Proper cute."
Fans were also pleased to see the pair together away from the famous street. @john_daniel_jewellery said: "Aww love this. Two of my fave characters from the street." @sue_rymell commented: "Great picture of you both with happy faces."
