Coronation Street fans were stunned to make a 'rare sighting' just minutes into the latest episode on Wednesday night, April 27, Manchester Evening News reports.
Viewers were reunited with Nicky Wheatly and Daniel Osbourne who now live together. Nicky moved in with the Weatherfield High teacher after she lost her job as a teaching assistant at the same school.
Earlier this year, Nicky came back to the cobbles, eager for a clean sweep for her and her daughter Masie.
When a friend helped Nicky get the job, things appeared to be looking up. But this soon changed when images of the former sex worker circulated throughout the school, leaving her humiliated.
Nicky was hauled into Mrs Crawshaw's office where she lost her job and was even more mortified when she found out the Gazette had ran a story on her.
Losing her job also meant she could no longer afford to move in to the new home she found for her and Maisie, which is where Daniel swooped in.
But back to Wednesday night, we returned to see the pair stood on the cobbles as Daniel thanked Nicky, who first entered his life in 2020 shortly after the tragic death of his wife Sinead, for looking after his son Bertie.
But it was a blink and you'll miss it moment as Bertie was shown on screen.
While this may not seem like a big deal, it was pointed out last week that the little boy is rarely seen these days - leading to an 'invisible child' mystery.
And soap watchers were also puzzled whether he was being looked after by his aunt Beth Sutherland or by grandfather Ken Barlow.
However, that all changed when Bertie, with his bowl cut-inspired blonde locks, was spotted stood with his dad and Nicky next to the postbox on the street.
And Corrie fans completely lost it.
