Coronation Street boss says soap rewrote storylines and filmed last minute scenes before lockdown closed set

Coronation Street has been awash with teeth gritting scenes as of late, as character Geoff Metcalfe steps up his campaign of cruelty against wife Yasmeen Nazir. The soap monster has kept viewers of the ITV soap on tenterhooks for the last few weeks as his controlling nature sees him continually intimidating wife Yasmeen, from forcing her to clean her home to eat her pet chicken.

Season 11 of NCIS: Los Angeles ended with a hair-raising spectacle in Afghanistan, as Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) found themselves face-to-face with a threat from within.
