Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 42, recently seemed to try and relax while getting some fresh air on the balcony of his apartment in Malibu, CA, just days after he admitted that his Dancing With the Stars fame helped him to flee Ukraine after Russia’s invasion. The ballroom dance champion was photographed looking at his phone while wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts as he looked up at cameras for a moment during the outing. He also wore white wireless ear buds and appeared to be either listening to something on his phone or chatting with someone.

Sean Penn spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak on Wednesday. Following the conversation, the actor, who has been in Ukraine since the war with Russia began, took to Twitter to weigh in on the country's need for jets. "I JUST got off a call with President Zelensky’s Chief of staff, Andriy Yermak," he wrote.

Sting took to Instagram on Saturday to perform his 1985 song "Russians" amid the Russia-Ukraine war.  He captioned the video, "I’ve only rarely sung this song in the many years since it was written, because I never thought it would be relevant again." "But, in the light of one man’s bloody and woefully misguided decision to invade a peaceful, unthreatening neighbor, the song is, once again, a plea for our common humanity," Sting continued.  "For the brave Ukrainians fighting against this brutal tyranny and also the many Russians who are protesting this outrage despite the threat of arrest and imprisonment - We, all of us, love our children. Stop the war," he added.

Sting performs a song that he would rather have kept in the past.

Ashton Kutcher called out Russian media for "lying" as the country continues to invade Ukraine. Kutcher has continued to show his support for Ukraine on social media. His wife, Mila Kunis, was born in the country and lived there right until the fall of the Soviet Union.

Sean Penn said he "walked miles" to the border of Poland on Monday from Ukraine, where he has been filming a documentary about Russia's invasion. The actor took to Twitter to share an update just days after it was revealed he was in Kyiv to film a documentary about the escalating conflict. "Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road," Penn revealed in his tweet on Monday.
