Amazon’s Big-Budget ‘Citadel’ Once Again Fails to Make Nielsen Streaming Top 10

Selome Hailu Missing for the third week in a row from Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings is “Citadel,” Amazon Prime Video’s $185 million spy series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. The May 8-14 viewing window marked the series’ second full week of availability and its third week with a chance at making the chart, as it premiered on April 28, meaning that viewership during its first three days of availability would have counted towards the April 24-30 charts. During that first window, Nielsen noted that “Citadel” just missed the streaming originals chart (not to be confused with the overall Top 10 chart) bringing in 306 million viewing minutes and losing out on the tenth place position to John Mulaney’s “Baby J.” Nielsen did not provide information regarding the series’ viewership for the May 1-7 or the May 8-14 windows.

Pence Presidential Launch Mocked for Suggesting Drag Queens Are Assaulting ‘American Values’ – With No Mention of Trump

Mike Pence on Wednesday officially launched his 2024 campaign for the White House, in a lengthy, polished video carefully constructed to position himself as the torch-bearer of American values, including Christian nationalism, while conveniently all but ignoring his four-plus years spent in service to Donald Trump, who recently was held liable by a jury for sexual abuse, is currently under a 34-count state felony indictment, and expected to soon be facing a slew of federal and state charges amid several other investigations.“I believe in the American people, and I have faith God is not done with America yet,” Pence tweeted atop his campaign video. “Together, we can bring this Country back, and the best days for the Greatest Nation on Earth are yet to come!”The well-known presidential historian Michael Beschloss, author of ten books, noted that it will “not be easy for a VP to separate himself from the President he served for four years.”READ MORE: Double Bombshell: Mark Meadows and Trump’s Secret Service Agents Have Testified, NYT ReportsAnd he made this critical observation: Pence’s “just-released announcement video cites ‘drag queens’ and Biden-Harris but not a single mention or image of You-Know-Who,” referring to Donald Trump. In fact, in Pence’s video (below), he falsely claims, “President Joe Biden and the radical left have weakened America at home and abroad.” “The American dream is being crushed under runaway inflation.

Whoopi Goldberg: ‘American Idol’ launched ‘the downfall of society’

dawg.“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg, 67, boldly stated Wednesday on the ABC talk show that “American Idol” was the “beginning of the downfall of society.”While the women of the show discussed why Netflix recently “dwelled” on the late Anna Nicole Smith’s last days in a new documentary, Goldberg claimed that viewers will watch this kind of programming because “people like to be judgy.”“You have ‘Basketball Wives,’ you have the ‘Housewives’ of whatever, all the Bravo shows, giving you the impression that you’re doing something wrong because you’re living your life.”“People watch these shows because they make them feel better,” Goldberg continued. “I think that we, as a society, love to watch stuff to judge folks.”“The Color Purple” star then offered up a specific example of when she believes the public became too power-hungry on passing judgment.

Morgan Wallen Rules Albums Chart for 11th Week, as Jonas Brothers Launch at No. 3 and Daft Punk Makes Comeback at No. 8

Thania Garcia Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” spends an 11th consecutive week topping the Billboard 200 albums chart — meeting marks set by the “Titanic” soundtrack, which ruled over the chart for 16 weeks in a row back in 1998, and joining record-setters Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder. In the latest tracking week, “One Thing” garnered the equivalent of 134,500 sales in the United States, including 165 million streams, according to data by Luminate. The 36-song set is the first of any genre to spend its first 11 weeks at the summit (meaning it opened at No. 1 and stayed there) since Houston’s 1987 album “Whitney,” which boasted classics like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go.” Before that, Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life” notched 13 weeks at No. 1 in 1976 and 1977.
