The Cure say North American tour tickets won’t be “transferable” to minimise “resale and keep prices at face value”

The Cure have said that tickets for their North American tour will not be “transferable”.The band announced their North American tour yesterday (March 9), with a run that kicks off at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on May 10.With ticket registration for the tour opening today (March 10), the band made the announcement about tickets not being transferable, with a view to minimise “resale and keep prices at face value”.Sharing a statement on their social media, the band wrote: “If something comes up that prevents a fan from being able to use a ticket they have purchased, they will be able [to] resell it on a face value ticket exchange.”The statement continued: “Unfortunately, despite our desire to protect our low ticket prices for fans, the states of NY, IL and CO make this very difficult – they actually have laws in place that protect scalpers! For shows in these states we urge fans to buy or sell tickets to one another on face value exchanges like twickets.live and cashortrade.org.”TICKET REGISTRATION OPEN NOW AT https://t.co/PkDGUv9w7c #ShowsOfALostWorld23 #TheCure #NorthAmerica pic.twitter.com/KgYQNu3S4F— The Cure (@thecure) March 10, 2023The Cure’s tour includes stops in Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Tampa and many more, before closing out at the Miami-Dade Arena in Florida on July 1.The band also have three consecutive dates at both LA’s Hollywood Bowl (May 23, 24, 25) and New York’s Madison Square Garden (June 20, 21, 22) with support across all dates from The Twilight Sad.Verified fan registration is open now until Monday, March 13 at 10am EST and can be accessed here.

Hall and Oates are on tour in 2023…separately. Get tickets today.

Daryl Hall and John Oates are going on tour — just not together. From May 24 through June 9, Daryl Hall and the Daryl’s House Band are taking off on an eight-concert tour that includes stops in Montclair, NJ on May 24, Port Chester, NY on June 7 and Atlantic City, NJ on June 9.His bandmate, John Oates will play five spring shows in California, Nashville and Chicago from April 13 through May 25.At the time of publication, none of Oates’ shows are scheduled to take place in the Northeast. No word on whether either Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will appear at each other’s shows either. With that being said, if you want to see half of Hall and Oates — Hall or Oates — here’s everything you need to know.A complete calendar including all tour dates and venues for Hall’s eight 2023 concerts can be found below.A complete calendar of all John Oates tour dates is listed below.Hall went old school in 2022 and dropped the rare double album.“Before After,” comprised of 30 tracks, features Hall’s signature classic sound — the indefinable center between pop and rock.If you want to hear the double album in its entirety, you can find “Before After” here.Last year, Oates dropped just one song — the sensual single “Pushin’ A Rock” that sounds like it could fit in a playlist next to “She’s Gone,” “Maneater” and “Rich Girl.”In 2023, Oates went a bit more downtempo.

‘Talking Sopranos’ with Michael Imperioli is on tour: Get tickets today

“The Sopranos” and then there’s everything else.David Chase’s incomparable, serio-comic drama ran from 1999-2007 and made such an impression that it has’t never left the cultural conversation since its infamous cut to black. In fact, “The Sopranos” has remained so relevant that show stars Michael Imperioli (also from the second season of “The White Lotus”), Vincent Pastore and Steve Schirripa are literally talking about their time on the show onstage all over the country.Yet, every show on the tour isn’t just idle chat like what you’d hear at The Bada Bing! though — rather, the former cast members, share behind-the-scenes stories, answer audience questions and review rare video footage. There’s only one problem.Unfortunately, “Christopher Moltisanti,” “Big Pussy” and “Bobby Baccalieri” only have a few gigs lined up this year.At the time of publication, the trio, along with moderator-comedian Joey Kola, have just three speaking engagements scheduled.First up, the trio from the 21-time Emmy winner will chop it up at Boston, MA’s Shubert Theatre on March 11.After that, they’re scheduled to hit Providence, RI’s The Strand Ballroom and Theatre on April 1.Finally, the trio will depart from anywhere even remotely close to New Jersey and head northwest to Warren, MI’s Andiamo Celebrity Showroom on Nov. 4.Woke up this morning and wanted to see “The Sopranos” live? Here’s everything you need to know.A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues, and links to buy tickets can be found below.(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time.

‘Wicked’ just shook up its Broadway cast. We found tickets.

“Wicked” is very “popular.”Now, the fifth longest-running Broadway show behind “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Chicago,” “The Lion King” and about to surpass “Cats” for fourth place, the “Wizard of Oz”-based musical has remained a fixture on the Great White Way since it opened way back in October 2003.Amazingly, in its 20th year at the Gershwin Theatre, the tourist destination is still going strong. And even though it’s a well-oiled machine, there are still a few new pieces to this well-established theatrical juggernaut.Starting March 7, Alyssa Fox assumed the lead role of Elphaba, Tony nominee John Dossett settled in as the Wizard, Kimber Elayne Sprawl took over as Nessarose and William Youmans became the new Doctor Dillamond. So, if you want to see the brand new Wicked Witch’s origin story live in person with a fresh ensemble, here’s everything you need to know.Like most Broadway shows, “Wicked,” has a standard eight show a week schedule running from Tuesday through Sunday.Matinees take place Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m.; Sunday matinees begin at 3 p.m.To find the show that makes the most sense for your calendar, we recommend reviewing the beloved, Tony Award-winning musical’s schedule here. The show runs 2 hours and 45 minutes. It should be noted that there is a 15-minute intermission.Rather than make you wait until you have a playbill in hand, we did the homework for you and found out a bit about each of “Wicked’s” five most notable cast members.Alyssa Fox (Elphaba): Originally from Dallas, TX, Fox has been working her way up to the Elphaba role for 13 (!) years.
