Jeremy Clarkson is back with a third series of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime Video, and the TV star has continued to run into problems on Diddly Squat Farm. Minutes into the first episode of the new series, Jeremy was dealt a huge blow and fans were left devastated by the scenes. Jeremy, 64, found out he had been served an enforcement notice by West Oxfordshire District Council, banning him from reopening his restaurant at the farm in Chipping Norton.
He was told he isn't even allowed to put plant pots outside the venue, leaving him accepting defeat and announcing the restaurant will not reopen. This meant that Jeremy would have to say goodbye to his beloved herd, including fan favourite Pepper. Fans became besotted with Pepper the heifer cow in series two, with Jeremy vowing to keep her as a pet.
There is even graffiti saying 'we love Peppa' outside the barn, which was left by visitors.
Jeremy said: “I’m finding today really quite sad because for the last year I’ve been opening the curtains in the morning and see the cows. And I love that, making cow noises. It just cheers my heart every morning to see them.
Are the calves going to be a bit upset tonight?” His co-star Kaleb Cooper said: “You won’t sleep tonight.
They’ll be calling all night long.” Jeremy then asked the farm manager Charlie Ireland: “Pepper’s going obviously. What do you think will become of her?” Charlie told him: “I wouldn’t ask too many questions about Pepper if I were you. Don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to.” Jeremy watched in silence as Pepper was loaded into a transporter alongside other cows.
