DJ and presenter Clara Amfo has talked of looking forward to trying her luck with pies, pastries and pithiviers ahead of the new run of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer. The 37-year-old star, who hails from Kingston-upon-Thames, has admitted she wasn’t going into the tent with any illusions that she’d be wowing with their ways when she competes against other celebrities.
For she admits that despite having previously competed on Celebrity MasterChef, she isn’t full of confidence about wowing with her wares when it comes to the crucial tasting time. And if she could dip into her celebrity phonebook and rope in some musical stars to help her whip up her creations, she knows exactly who she would turn to.

But up against comedian and presenter Katherine Ryan, rapper KSI and presenter and documentary maker Stacey Dooley, it was Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall who took the coveted Star Baker apron. But without those star helpers, Clara was definitely feeling the pressure ahead
