Gladiators star Russell Crowe claims he's blacklisted from King Charles' Coronation

Russell Crowe has claimed that he may be blacklisted from royal events, sharing that he wasn't one of the celebrities to 'get the call' inviting him to attend King Charles' upcoming Coronation. The Gladiators actor, 59, is no stranger to royalty and has met Prince William and Harry, while also spending an evening with Charles back in 2003, but may not have had his royal etiquette on point. And as preparations are well underway for the royal event, which will take place on Saturday and welcome stars such as Lionel Richie and Geordie duo Ant and Dec, Russell won't be heading for Westminster. Admitting that his last meeting could have been the reason for the lack of invite, the New Zealand-born actor has recalled calling both second-in-line William and his brother Harry 'mate'.

Keri Russell’s ‘The Diplomat’ Is Not the Second Coming of ‘The Americans’: TV Review

Emily Tannenbaum Fans of FX’s popular Cold War drama “The Americans” will undoubtedly check out “The Diplomat” in the hopes that Keri Russell’s next political thriller can fill the heart-pumping void the hit series left behind in 2018. They shouldn’t — at least, not for that reason. Though “The Americans” and “The Diplomat” share a star, as well as a similar focus on marital power struggles, the new series from “Homeland” executive producer Debora Cahn is less gritty spy thriller and more soapy workplace drama. Throughout the show’s eight, hour-long episodes, I found myself thinking of “The Diplomat” as a Shondaland-inspired take on “The West Wing,” which makes sense considering Cahn cut her teeth as a writer on both “Grey’s Anatomy” and Aaron Sorkin’s NBC series.

Jonny Greenwood announces new album ‘Jarak Qaribak’ with Israeli musician Dudu Tassa

Radiohead‘s Jonny Greenwood has announced a new album with Israeli musician Dudu Tassa.‘Jarak Qaribak’ will come out on June 9 and is being previewed by a first single titled ‘Ashufak Shay’.Discussing the style of the music on the album in a press release, Tassa – who has previously toured with Radiohead – said: “When people listen to this music, I really love to imagine them thinking…what is this? It sounds 1970s, but there are drum machines, there are guitars but they’re singing in Arabic…what’s going on?”Greenwood discussed how the project compared to another past collaboration with an Israeli singer, Shye Ben Tzur, saying: “‘Jarak Qaribak’ presented a similar set of problems, in that you have all these scales which don’t conform to western major/minor scales, and have notes which involve quarter-tones, and it’s very hard to impose a chord sequence on these melodies. It usually makes them collapse. It’s like reducing the resolution on a colour photo until it’s just squares.”Listen to ‘Ashufak Shay’ below alongside watching an album teaser.1. ‘Djit Nishrab’ (feat.
