The heckler repeatedly shouted out that autism spectrum disorder (ASD) was "nonsense" and "a label". The confrontation came about because on the show, Christine found a kindred spirit in Friday Night Dinner star Tom Rosenthal, who reminded her of her son Leo. On camera, she suggested that Tom might also have autism and while he has not been diagnosed, Tom said that others have said he could be neurodivergent.
"As soon as I met Tom, I thought, 'He's definitely autistic,'" Christine said. "Being autistic isn't a bad thing. You might need to get extra help in certain places. "Tom absolutely magnifies with how much information he can take in, how he speaks, the way he dresses. He's quite quirky, he likes to be alone quite a lot.

"I just felt comfortable enough to be able to speak to him about it. Tom and I have spoken quite a lot outside the show about him looking at getting a diagnosis and it's up to him whether he wants to or not," reports OK!.
