Actress Christina Applegate was moved to tears at the 75th annual Emmy Awards on Monday.
The star, who is battling multiple sclerosis, received a standing ovation as she took to the stage with a cane to present two awards.
The Dead to Me and Anchorman star was helped across the stage by host Anthony Anderson, who has been praised for his presenting skills. As Christina made her way to the podium, the entire audience at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles rose to their feet in support.

She continued: "Some of you may know me as Kelly Bundy from Married with Children. We don't have to applaud every time I do something." Christina ended her speech saying: "I'm going to cry more than I've been crying." Fans quickly took to social media to comment on the emotional moment.
One fan shared: "The standing ovation for Christina Applegate has me bawling already." Another chimed in with: "Such a queen." A third added: "Love her. She deserves that ovation and more." Viewers were thrilled to see the Emmys return after last year's postponement.
The awards show, which celebrates the best TV series of the year, was delayed until January 2024 due to a WGA strike.
