Chloe Brockett had been ‘scouted for Love Island’ before taking TOWIE role

Chloe Brockett has revealed to OK! she was scouted for Love Island around the same time as speaking with producers about joining the cast of TOWIE, but she turned it down. The Only Way Is Essex star, 22, told us she could have followed in the footsteps of her ex boyfriend Jack Fincham, who won the dating show in 2018 with now ex Dani Dyer, but decided the show wasn't for her. Chloe could have been walking into the villa with her now best pal Elma Pazar - who entered the villa in 2019 alongside fellow bombshell Maura Higgins.
Speaking of 29 year old Elma's history of being on the show as well as Jack, 31, Chloe said: "Well, my ex-boyfriend Jack [Fincham] was on Love Island too, so I’ve been around a lot of people that have been on the show. "When I was 18, I got a DM from the Love Island producers. But I thought TOWIE was more for me." She continued: "I did Celebs Go Dating and I’m not the best at dating people! I’m better in a dramatic situation than a loving situation." Speaking about when she first joined TOWIE, Chloe said she felt "intimidated" when she first met all of the cast.
"It was quite daunting. I remember my first meeting with everybody was actually at the launch party at Sheesh in Chigwell," she recalled. "They kept the newbies and the older cast members separate, and then they just said, ‘OK go mingle!’ I was intimidated.
But everyone was quite welcoming to me.There were no frosty vibes." Chloe started dating Jack in 2019 after his split from ex girlfriend and winner Dani, 26, who is now expecting twins with her boyfriend and footballer Jarrod Bowen, also 26.
