SAG-AFTRA has cleared the air on Dancing With the Stars‘ return amid the Hollywood strikes.

In a firm statement to Variety, a spokesperson for SAG-AFTRA says that performers on the ABC competition series are not only not violating the strike rules by participating in the show, but that they are required to fulfill their contractual obligations with the show.

The launch of “Dancing with the Stars,” which was scheduled on September 26, is reportedly being postponed by ABC.

Walsh is a member of WGA, SAG-AFTRA and the DGA.
